Sarah (Sam) Elliston is our Involvment Coordinator at NTUC.  Her  role is to assist the team leaders and people running special events.  She helps plan the activities and help find the people to do them. She maintains a list of ongoing opportunities, some of which are listed below.

Where would you like to share yourself with us?  Or do you want to learn a new skill?

Do you like to "just do it" or do you like to plan and think things through and then help others get it done? 

Do you like to be involved in the Sunday Service itself?

Do you have fun like being around the energy of young people?

Do you like setting the stage or standing on it?

Are you comfortable in a retail setting?  a kitchen? a prayerful setting?

on Saturday, April 24th, the EarthCare Team is inviting all of us to join the community clean up in honor of Earth Day.  We will meet between 8:30 -9 am and clean the sidewalks and streets around the Center until noon, when lunch will be served by the Walnut Hills Community Council.  We'll have snacks, garbage bags and water for you.  Sign up at the Happenings Table or email us at selliston@ntunity.org

Our library is one of the largest libraries of metaphysical books in the area and yet we don't have an inventory by content. Currently, everything is listed and shelved by author and it would be helpful to have a cross reference by topic.  This is an opportunity that can be done on a flexible schedule but must done in the Library.  It's a great opportunity for more than one person to adopt.  Families even?   Stop in an take a look.  Library experience not required.

Or help in the Library one Sunday a month 10 am -1 pm - training provided

Do you enjoy interacting with young people?  Serve as a teacher one or two Sundays a month from 11-12 a.m.  Come shadow someone now and be in time for the fall teacher training.   

Do you like to play in the dirt?   Join the Garden Team and maintain a part of the gardens around the Center.  Members work together on Saturdays and by themselves during the week to weed and plant and trim and beautify our natural surroundings.   Contact Sam Elliston (samelliston@ntunity.org)  if you are interested.
