Where would you like to share yourself with us?  Or do you want to learn a new skill?

The opportunities to fit into the puzzle of New Thought Unity Center abound. 

Do you like to "just do it" or do you like to plan and think things through and then help others get it done? 

Do you like to be involved in the Sunday Service itself?

Do you enjoy making new friends?

Do you have fun like being around the energy of young people?

Do you like setting the stage or standing on it?

Are you comfortable in a retail setting?  a kitchen? a prayerful setting?

Think about the answers to these questions and email me, Sam Elliston, and let's talk about the many opportunities for you to serve the New Thought Unity Center community and have fun at the same time.

Do you enjoy interacting with young people?  Serve as a teacher one or two Sundays a month from 11-12 a.m.  Come shadow someone now and be in time for the fall teacher training.   

Do you like to play in the dirt?   Join the Garden Team and maintain a part of the gardens around the Center.  Members work together on Saturdays and by themselves during the week to weed and plant and trim and beautify our natural surroundings.   Contact Sam Elliston (samelliston@ntunity.org)  if you are interested. 

This year, we are tutoring and mentoring 3rd and 4th graders at Frederick Douglass Elementary School on Park Avenue in East Walnut Hills. 

Previous tutors have said things like, "It's so gratifying when the light goes on and she gets it. We have become friends."    Tutors meet for one hour a week with a student, helping with classwork and modeling social skills.  Hours are donated between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m.  A background check is required.
