• LEARN ABOUT A HEALIG CONVERSATION: THE ART OF BALANCING DIFFICULT RELATIONSHIPS - 9:30am-1:00pm in Classroom B. The holidays often mean being with people we can generally avoid. We all have at least one person who tugs at us, making us wish for peace. This workshop explores the process for identifying what we can do to balance the relationships with the people in our lives who are sometimes hard to love. It examines the 4 steps that lead to a “Healing Conversation” including why we try to avoid these conversations. We practice the process and leave with a plan.  $25 in advance, $35 at the door.  Sarah (Sam) Elliston facilitating.

• LAUGHTER THERAPY with  Betty Finney, Laughter Therapist — 1:00-2:00pm in Classroom B.  Love offering.  Betty Finney is a dynamic speaker whose unique blend of insight into humor leaves her audiences laughing and inspired.  She shares the tools and techniques to help us break through our self-imposed limitations and enable us to reclaim our innate humor. This one-hour participatory program    explores the power of laughter.  It is “Fun Lovin”  Therapy for businesses, organizations, and   families. 
• THE TRANSFORMING POWER OF AUTHENTICITY — With Rev. Suzanne Carter  (Rev. George’s Mentor)  2:00-4:00pm in Friendship Hall.  The key to our wholeness lies in healing the wounds caused by loss of any kind. The willingness to recognize and heal these wounds removes the shroud of grief that separates us from God, ourselves and others.  As we find the courage within to look at, deal with and heal from all loss, we then remove the blocks that keep us from doing what we have come here to do.  This workshop is an overview of the principles and process of Grief  Recovery. You will gain practical tools and insights to help you recognize and deal with the effects of loss.
