SUNDAY - September 27

  • MEDITATION held in Chapel at 8:30 and 10:30am led by Frieda Hughes.
  • LIFE IS MEANT TO BE GOOD (on WAIF 88.3 FM) at 10:00am.
  • YFM ROCKS AUDITIONS TODAY - 1:00-2:30pm in Classroom B.  Be part of a fresh, interactive, musical  experience designed  by  the Youth of Unity (Y.O.U.).  Show will be held November 7 here in our Sanctuary.   As always there are opportunities for YOU (that's everybody!) to help make this a success.   For more information contact Shelley Lindsey  (513)521-3277 or Kim   Gerhold (859) 803-4566.
  • FALL WRITING CIRCLE - 2:00-3:30pm in the Kitchen. No professional experience necessary, just a love for pen and paper!  Glo Redmond facilitating.  Love offering.

MONDAY - September 28

  • AA GROUP meets in Classroom A every Monday from 7:00 - 8:00pm.
  • HATHA YOGA - Weekly from 7:00 - 8:30 pm in Friendship Hall.  Facilitated by Diana Guy. Pay by month $10/class or $11/single class. 

TUESDAY - September 29

  • TUESDAY MORNING CLASS facilitated by Ruth Davis will be held 10:30 - 11:45am in Classroom A. The class is starting Love is Letting Go of Fear by Dr. Gerald G. Jampolsky, M.D.   Love offering received.

  • ANUSARA YOGA - 6:00-7:30pm in Friendship Hall; with Patsy Baughn.  A practice to help you reconnect with your innate goodness and expressing yourself from that Divine place.  $10/class by month or $11/class.
  • A NEW HEAVEN, A NEW EARTH - Tuesdays, through October 13, 2009, 7:00 -  8:45pm at the Spiritual Practice Center.  Larry Watson facilitating. 

WEDNESDAY - September 30

  • THE HEART OF THE MATTER on unity.fm,Creating Healthy Relationships 2 -3:00pm - Join Rev. George Whitton, and relationship specialists, Tom and Joyce DeVoge, as they discuss over the internet how to create/maintain healthy relationships.
  • WONDERFUL WEDNESDAY SERVICE -   Music, Meditation, and a Message with Rev. George and Nancy Whitton and the NTUC Music Team held at 6:30pm in Friendship Hall.
  • COURSE IN MIRACLES- A Course in Miracles as a Practical Experience held from 7:30-9:00 pm in the Classroom B with Bob Hesford. Love Offering. 

THURSDAY - October 1

  • BUSINESS OFFICE CLOSED.
  • 21st CENTURY HEALING - Class is presented every Thursday from 6:00 - 8:00pm; $15.00 per class at the SPC.

FRIDAY - October 2

  • NTUC CAMPING ADVENTURE - Red River Gorge - Red River Gorge is a geological wonderland just 110 miles south of Cincinnati!  Join us for one last fun weekend of camping, hiking and canoeing or kayaking.  Plans are to meet at New Thought Unity at 10:00 am on Friday, October 2nd, and camp Friday and Saturday night.  Koomer Ridge ($18.00 per camp site) camp sites are on a first come first serve basis.  If you not able to come down Friday morning, let Randy Bonhaus know, and he will reserve a spot for you when he gets to the campsite.  If you do not want to camp, a few miles away is an incredible hostel. It is new, clean and reasonable.  Reservations are not required and prices range from $16.00 to $20.00 per person per night.(www.truenorthinn.com).  There is also a gourmet restaurant located in the hostel.
    Activities include:
    Hiking in the gorge - FREE.
    Kayaking and Canoeing on beautiful Mill Creek Lake and/or the Red River, depending on flow ¨C FREE (Eric Czanik and Randy Bonhaus will be bringing their kayaks and canoes and will make them available to anyone to use.)

  • SPIRITUAL CINEMA - The Pursuit of Happyness -  7:00pm in Friendship Hall.  Tom Sylvester facilitating.  Love offering.  Will Smith stars in this moving tale inspired by the true story of Chris Garnder, a San Francisco salesman struggling to build a future for himself and his five-year-old son, Christopher (Jaden Smith).  When his girlfriend (Thandie Newton) Linda walks out, Chris is left to raise Christopher on his own.  Chris' determination finally pays off when he lands an  unpaid internship in a brutally competitive stock broker-training program, where only one in twenty interns will make the cut.  But without a salary, Chris and his son are evicted from their apartment and are forced to sleep on the streets, in home-less shelters and even in the locked doors of a metro station bathroom.  With self-confidence and the love and trust of his son, Chris Gardner rises above his obstacles to become a Wall Street legend.

  • JOB SEARCH WORKSHOP WITH KIM EDWARDS CONTINUES TODAY -  Are you looking for a job or think you will be in the near future?  This is a 2-session workshop in which Kim will help you hone your job hunting skills by training you on specific techniques.   Week Two - Interviewing, 
    -  Preparing for Successful Interview     
    -  Do's & Don'ts 
    -  Frequently Asked & Tricky Questions 
    -  Steps to Take after Interview

  • PET BLESSING IN THE GARDEN - 2:00-3:00pm with Bob Hesford.  2:00-3:00pm in the Garden.  Do you have a pet you love?  Have them Blessed here next Sunday afternoon. Conducted by Pastoral Care Assistant Bob Hesford.
